STI Card Sorting Activity to introduce teaching about STI’s in a light hearted but engaging way as not to scare off the students
Contents of this resource include:
Editable Version of the 36 piece STI Guessing GAme Card Sort
(Top tip: Print On Card and Laminate - Print each set on a different colour to avoid students mixing up sets and store in small plastic bags or envelopes)
Interactive Clickable Powerpoint to run alongside the STI Guessing Game

This can be done in small groups or done as a whole Class Activity -
Instructions for Whole class activity:
-Print 1 Copy of the Card sort (Laminate and Cut if using multiple times - 6 Pages only)
Rule 1: Each player receives a card (or two) allow students discussion time as a class to work out if they think they have a real STI , fake made up word, or real condition but not and STI card.
Rule 2: Allow students to raise their hand if its not an STI they are holding – Click PPT to Reveal if they were right (If wrong click to lose a life)
Rule 3: Lose all your lives – the class loses
Rule 4: Find all 11 STI’s to win
Optional Rule – Ask the Teacher Helpline - Tell them 1 answer
Optional Rule – Find the Latin word for STI to gain a bonus life (Introduce and allow class a free guess at it if they are losing lives quickly)
